Mangalore :  The colourful and scintillating kites presented by Team Mangalore, a hobby group of kite flyers from Mangalore, who are representing India in the Dieppe International Kite Festival, 2012 being held at Dieppe, France, have soared French  skies and have won the hearts of the French.

Five-member team consisting of Sarvesh Rao, Dinesh Holla, Satish Rao, Shashank Shetty and Pran Hegde are participating in this event.

The Team’s new creation ‘Garuda’ has been appreciated  the French and the team has even organized a workshop for children on making Indian fighter kites. There is a special gallery in the exhibition venue where  a team member and eminent artist Dinesh Holla exhibited his line artworks.
