Bhatkal: A teenaged boy hailing from Sagar reportedly met a watery grave in Arabian Sea  at Murdeshwar on August 21, Tuesday.

The deceased is Mohammad Suhail(16). The incident is learnt to have taken place when he had been to the beach along with his 12 friends to have a swim.

Youth rescued by  Lifeguards: Lifeguards at the Panambur Beach rescued  Ansar (21),  of Neermarga who was drowning in the sea on Tuesday.

It has been reported that Ansar had ignored the warnings of the beach guards and was playing in the water along with his friends. Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project CEO Yatish Baikampady said Ansar and his friends who had come to the beach to make merry, had repeatedly ignored warnings of the Beach Guards. He said the Panambur police were informed about the incident after a statement was obtained from Ansar.
