Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada district police booked and arrested a person under the Pocso Act for allegedly raping his daughter and impregnating her, at Bantwal taluk.

The victim stated in her complaint that she lived with her father, mother and a sister in Bantwal. At 11.45pm on February 8, when everyone was asleep at home, the accused raped his daughter, which continued for many months, after which the victim became pregnant.

The victim told her family about the incidents, and a complaint was registered under IPC Section 376 and Pocso Act 2012, against the accused.
