Bangalore: Television actress Hemashree (38) who has enacted in several teleserials has died under mysterious circumstances on October 9, Tuesday.

According to reports, the actress  fell unconscious when she along with her husband Sudheendra Babu were on their way to Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh, following which she was brought to Baptist Hospital where she was declared brought dead. Though doctors said she might have died at least two hours before, Sudheendra Babu argued that she passed away at the hospital.

The two who stayed in Banashankari had a strained relationship and once earlier were even counseled by the police commissioner. The post-mortem report is awaited.
