Mudipu : Two construction workers lost their lives when the terrace of an under construction building at Ullasnagar in Harekala village, collapsed over them on November 30, Friday.

The deceased labourers are Malappa (21) and Mabu Sabu(20) hailing fom Mundaragi in Gadag district.

According to reports the contractor of the project had ordered the two labourers to remove the supporting pillars of the terrace leading to the tragedy. The house is owned by one Ganesh and the contractor was  Mohan Shetty.

A case has been registered against the contractor at the Konaje police station.
