Mulky: A new Tulu film “Brahmashri Narayana Guruswamy” rolled on Sunday at the Sri Durga Parameshwari temple near Mulky with Kannada actor ‘Challenging Star’ Darshan holding the clapboard. The film is produced by Siddharth his friend, under the banner of Thungabhadra productions. The camera work was started by Udupi MP, Jayaprakash Hegde of Brahmavar.
Speaking on the occasion actor Darshan said that he was glad to be associated with a Tulu film produced by his close friend Siddhartha, based on the advent of Sri Narayana Guru in Kerala and coastal Karnataka. Ha asked young persons of coastal region to know about Narayana Guru Swami more and follow his teachings in their own lives to lead a clean and dispassionate period of services to the society.
Mangalore Mp, Nalin Kumar Kateel advised the youth to know more about Sri Narayana Guru who was a Pattern Saint of Kerala and coastal Karnataka, whose Tulu film is being made for the coastal audiences in their own language Narayana Guru preached about a castles society based on human equality before one and only god to be worshiped by all.
Tulu dignitary and social worker Jaya C Suwarna presided over the Tulu film inaugural ceremony in the meeting in Bappanadu. Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, MLA Pramod Madhwaraj, Sathyanandatirtha Swamiji of Shivgiri Temple, Kerala, Tulu Academy former president Umanath Kotian, and temple trustee Manohar Shetty were present on the hearty occasion.
