Mangalore : The All College Students Association state president Dinakar Shetty said, Association members will support for the bundh call given by the Netravathi Jeevanadi Rakshana Samithi on March 3 to opposing the Netravathi Diversion Project.

Addressing media men here on February 27, Thursday, Dinakar Shetty said, Students Association strongly oppose the government’s decision to implement the diversion project. He said,the Student Unions will protest in front of the DC office on March 3. The politicians D.V Sadananda Gowda, former chief minister and Dr.Veerappa Moily, union minister, is highly condemnable.

He requested that, all like-minded organisations should be support for the Bandh call. Throughout district will observe March 3rd is Black Day to opposing the foundation laying of the project in Chikkaballapur.

Students Association members Ashwith Kothari, Rakesh Shetty, Rakshith R Poojary, Manish Gatti, Dharmaraj, Akash, Nikhil, Dhanraj, Ashwini Gowda and Surabhi were present at the press meet.
