Mangaluru: The district BJP unit leaders take part in a cleanliness drive to mark Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s 90th birthday celebration on Thursday Dec 25 at Mallikatte Junction in the City.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel , MLA Yogish Bhat and other BJP leaders cleaned-up the Kadri-Mallikatta Temple Road on this occasion.

After cleanliness drive the district BJP unit members celebrated Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s 90th birthday in a function held at district BJP office and felicitated 35 senior citizens.

Speaking on the occasion, former MLA Kumble Sundar Rao said, Atalji’s Lifestyle, ideology, Sacrifice is a model for other politicians and he is only prime minister who made India’s economic growth equal to other forwarded countries.

Satish prbhu BJP leader and Media Convener praised the scarification of senior citizens.

Yogish Bhat, Nagaraj Shetty, Pushpalatha Gatty, Nithin Kumar,Ravishankar Mijaru, Sudhir Kannuru, Vedavyasa Kamath and other BJP leaders were present.
