Mangaluru: Depending in the Eid moon the celebration of Eid-Ul-Fitr will be celebrated on June 6 said S M Rashid, the treasurer of Central Juma Masjid.

“As the moon haven’t sighted on Monday the Eid is scheduled to Wednesday said Dakshina Kannada Qazi Moulana Twaka Ahmed Musliyar,” informed S M Rashid.

TheEid namaaz will be held at Idgah Masjid Light house Hill in the city at 8 am on July 6.

Eid-Ul-Fitr is one of the most celebrated feast in Islamic calendar. The whole world of Muslim’s was looking forward for this day. After keeping fasting for long thirty days, finally the end of it has come.

It is a feast where Muslims thank Allah for the mercy he has shown and for the strength he has given to keep fast.

Also, the reports have said that the Eid will be celebrated at Chikkamagaluru and Hassan on July 6 only.
