Udupi : The girl  baby who was found abandoned in a garbage bin on August 10 was rescued and treated at the Government Women and Children’s Hospital is four months old now.

District Legal Services Authority Member and Judge Kaveri named the child as “Prajwala” during a naming ceremony at the Krishnanugraha Adoption Centre at Santhekatte and wished her a bright future.

Sadanand Nayak, District Health Protection Officer, Violet Femina, SI of Women’s police station, Dr Umesh Prabhu, Chairman of Sri Krishna Charitable Trust, Nityananda Olakadu, Secretary of Nagarika Seva Samithi were present among others.
