Bangalore: The Right to Education Act will be implementation 25% seats in private schools would be allotted to economically and socially backward children and all doubts in the process would be cleared said Education minister Kageri. A delegation led by Puttanna, President of Private Schools administration Councils Federation met the Minister on Wednesday to submit a memorandum. Their doubts will be cleared on Thursday, Kageri said
Unaided private schools will have to admit backward children to 25% of the seats from 2012 itself, a Govt Circular issued on Wednesday said. Only 75% seats in schools can be filled up on regular basis, leaving 25% to the socially and economically backward class children, he said.
