But 3 vacancies have been filled up, and 3 more created and new Ministers have got in. Some portfolios have been changed, for instance, Dr. V.S Acharya moves from Home to Higher Education, R. Ashoka is the new Home Minister. V. Somanna gets food and civil supplies. The new Ministers, are given comparatively junior portfolios such as Medical Education and Social Welfare.
Shobha Karandlaje gets power, which was with K.S Eashwarappa and later, with CM. According to BJP state chief Eashwarappa the cabinet will be re-structured in March next (2011) with 3 new faces in the cabinet.
