An inter-class ‘Pookkalam’ tussle was held in class rooms. Games like Tug-of war(rope pulling) spoon race, Saree wearing(for men) and eating Bananas(call me) were held as part of the heavenly celebrations of an agricultural crops-cutting season, and decorating homes with flowers and greenery.
School and college principals, also the teaching staff were present to wish the run around students a happy Onam, on 9th stage roles by Maveli and Vamanan were a special attraction.
