Mangalore : The NDC – CID were successful in arresting four person and from Kasargod in Kerala and seized two kg of heroin valued at Rs two crore at international market price.
The team of NDC CID led by Inspector C.A Simon, said the four were arrested when they were trying to sell the possession in the city from the Kerala registered Maruthi Car on Jul 8, Thursday.
The arrested were identified as Hussain, Rafiq, Manoj and Gangadhar, who parked the car near the Palah English Medium School, located between the roads leading from KC Road to Natekal.
The team acting on the information arrested the accused and seized the possession along with Maruthi Car KL 14 H 4915 and 4 mobile phones.
A case in this regard had been registered in Ullal police station.
The head constable Krishna along with police constable Harish, Ashok and driver Naveen Kumar were involved in the operation.
