Mangalore: The muhurtam of the Tulu movie ‘Chaali Polilu’, produced by Prakash Pandeshwar under the banner Jayakirana Films was held at Government Higher Primary School, Pandeshwar in Mangalore on Sunday, March 9.

Manohar Prasad, bureau chief, Udayavani Daily, inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that if  Tulu people encourage Tulu movies, more producers to come forward to make Tulu movie. Tuluvas must support Tulu Movie.

Dr Hamsaraj Alva sounded the clap board for the movie.

Prakash Pandeshwar, Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP, V Manohar, music director, Sudhakar Bannanje, director and lyricist, Chandrahas Rai B, Vijay Kumar Kodialbail, Devadas Kapikad, tulu actor, Veerendra Shetty Kavoor and Dr Hansraj Alva were present on the dais.

Devdas Kapikad, Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor and Aravind Bolar will be in the lead comedy roles. Veerendra Shetty Kavoor is the story writer, lyricist and director. Jagannath Shetty Bala is the co-producer.

The film will stars Navya, Divyasri and Surendra Bantwal in lead roles.

V Manohar is the music director. Cinematography is by Uthpal V Nainar, lyrics are by V Manohar, Vijaykumar Kodialbail, Devadas Kapikad and Veerendra Shetty Kavoor. Madan Harini is the choreographer while Keshava Suvarna B C Road is the art director, and Vinod the stuntman.
