Mangalore : The Mangalore Police Commissioner R Hithendra inaugurated the voters awareness campaign by pasting a sticker on a vehicle in front of University College at Hampankatta in Mangalore on March 28, Friday.

To create awareness on voting students formed a human chain near University College in Mangalore. The programme was organised by the Election Commission in association with students as part of Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation programme (SVEEP). On the occasion NCC cadets from Naval wing posted voter awareness stickers on vehicles.

Zilla Panchayat CEO Tulasi Maddineni was also present. Some other colleges also organised similar campaigns near their colleges.
