Mangalore : The house belonging to B P Mustaq, a Mangalore based businessman near New Balmatta Road was burgled at night on October 18, Sunday.
Reportedly, the owner of the house, along with his family had visited their other house located at Manipal to celebrate Bakrid with their parents.
While his son and relative returned home at 10 pm and took key in hand to open, they realized that door was already broke opened.
Immediately the Bunder police along with Circle inspector Manjunath Shetty reached the spot and investigated the matter.
The finger print expert and the sniff dog squad were called off for investigation at 11.40 pm.
Owner said that one of his friends used to stay in his house every day, but since there was a Bakrid feast, he went to his native place. He claimed that only two mobiles and one camera has been robbed off.
The thieves have misplaced all the things and clothes from the cupboard and used their ouw hammer to break cupboard. The investigation is on.
