Ullala : The thieves break opens the front door and decamped with silver plates and cash from Umamaheshwari temple located at Kapikad in Ullala.

The incident came to light on Thursday morning when the devotees saw the door broke open.

It is learnt that, the thieves had entered the temple with a plan to grab a big deal but had managed to escape with only one silver plate and some cash from temple.

It is recalled that the thieves had decamped with the cash of Rs 5000 from two houses on Sunday and even ate food preserved in the fridge. The locals are blaming the police department for failure to arrest the thieves.

Rajendra Ullala Sub inspector of crime branch of Ullala station visited the spot and inspected. A case has been registered in this regard.
