Bhatkal: Thieves who broke into the Naunihal Central School, Bhatkal, have decamped with cash and valuables worth Rs 2 lakh on Sunday night.

The Principal of the School Zareena Kola in her complaint said the thieves gained entry into the school by breaking open the main doors of the office room and principal’s chamber.

A case has been registered at Bhatkal town police station. Finger print experts and a dog squad has been pressed into service.
