Mangalore : Rainy season and two-wheeler riders have a tough time as they will have to be ready with their rain coats to protect themselves from rain that may pour at any time of the day or night. But, here is some good news for all those who are tired of wearing raincoats.

Its a bike with a roof top that can protect the rider when it rains, in a way it is the convenience of a bike as well as an autorickshaw. The person who owns this bike with a roof is Poornesh, an auto mechanic by profession. He says he developed this idea and has sp far spent Rs 4000 for the modification of the two-wheeler and everything would soon be complete once he spends another Rs 1500. The roof top of this bike is rexin cloth and it definitely keeps the rider dry  on wet days. The front fibre glass window however do not have wipers.

Poornesh says he has not got wet even when he had rode his bike when it rained heavily. He says he has many admirers for his bike with a roof and has many enquiries from bike riders.
