Mangaluru : K Ashraf Convener of the United Muslim organisation has urged the a copy medical report on the sexual assault case on an LKG student by a school van driver must be given to the victim’s parents.
He also warned if the report is not handed over to the parents of the victim within 10 days will intense protest outside DC’s office also a state-wide protest by students.
Speaking to the reporters K Ashraf, on Monday said that district administration must make sure that the medical report connected to the case is given to the parents of the victim as well, which is their right.
After several protests and submission of memorandum to the government, the district administration formed a committee to probe the case, He alleged that the Committee’s report is incomplete and further, the statement of the victim’s mother has been misinterpreted and twisted, The Fact Finding Committee formed by the organisation too had probed into the matter and there is sharp difference between their report and the report submitted by the district administration’s committee.
Ashraf raised doubts about action being initiated against the school, for the simple reason that the school us owned by a retired police officer.
The district administration, the police and the government should probe the school’s role. He added.
