Karkala : Karkala Police have arrested three Bajrangdal activists on the charges of assaulting Anil Poojary of Hindu Jagarana Vedike activist.

Those arrested are Sunil, taluk convenor of Bajrangdal and a resident of Nitte, Sharath, zonal convenor and Prasad, Goraksha Pramukh.

The incident had taken place on the night of Sunday when the accused barged into Anil’s house and attacked him. The accused were arrested when they were travelling in a car near Beluvai.

The weapons used by the accused have also been seized.
