Bantwal : A 14-year-old girl has been allegedly raped by three persons for two days repeatedly in Madikeri.

The accused are identified as Abdul Basheer, a resident of Kodangai Radhukatte, Basheer alias Bakuta Basheer of Bobbekeri and Jabbar of Karyadi. All the three are said to be a married men and are absconding.

It is learnt that, 14 year old girl, studying in ninth standard student in a local school belongs to the Muslim community is a resident of Kolpe near Urimajalu.

The girl met Basheer of Bobbekeri, few days ago while she had been to a shop at Vittal to recharge her cell phone. After obtaining her cell number, Basheer was calling her repeatedly and said that he was a bachelor, who fell in love with her and wish to marry her.

Girl in the complaint stated that, on April 18 at around 8.30 pm, Basheer called the girl and asked to meet her near her house. When the girl came to the roadside he forcibly took her in a car along Basheer, other accused to Madikeri and raped her repeatedly in an isolated place for two days. Knowing about the girl, Jabbar also asked the girl to accompany him or would kill her.

The case was lodged in Vittal police, after the girl revealed the matter to her parents.

They have seized the car used by the trio to take the girl to Madikeri.
