Belthangady: Four endosulfan victims of a family committed suicide at Aladka in Kokkada village of Belthangady on Thursday morning.

According to the sources, the victims may have committed suicide due to ill effects of endosulfan pesticide as they have been facing health issues. Four members jumped into a pond to commit the act.

The dead bodies of three deceased Babu Gowda (62), Sadananda (32), Gangamma (55) found in the pond while the body of Nithyananda (32) yet to be found. Dharmasthala police have registered a case on the incident and investigation in progress, the sources said.
