Kasargod: Three members of a family including a middle aged woman and her two children, died when they were crushed by a moving train near Trikkaripura railway station on August 9, Thursday. It is still not known if it was a suicide or an accident.

The deceased are Komalavalli (52) of Mayyil Kannur, Shivaprasad(30) and Praseeda(25). The mishap took place when the three were crossing the railway line as usual  near the Elambachi mini stadium. It was raining heavily and they were hit by the Mangalore-Thiruvananthapuram Parashuram Express train at around 6 am.

Komalavalli who was separated from her husband was living with her children  since past six years. Investigations are in progress.
