Mangalore : Three persons have been booked on the charges of cheating the Indian Bank’s KS Rao Road branch after availing loans through forged documents. It is learnt the persons had availed loan to the tune of Rs 2.,25 crore showing properties not owned by them.,
The accused are G Narayan Sharma, P Gopalkrishna Bhat and Shyamala. As a surety they had shown an apartment located at Belagola industrial area of Mysore and iron ore stock worth Rs 1.75 crore in Bharath Exim company.
However, on an enquiry, it came to light that the iron ore belonged to some other industries.
The bank manager Vasan PR has lodged a complaint in Bunder police station.
