Mangalore: Eight students who were practicing dancing lessons till late in the night outside the school hours, when the Bertrand Russell High School at Baikampady had provided dancing facilities in the school itself even after class hours by the convener Nisha Laxmi who was very strict about the students behavior and discipline in the school.
When she came to know that a few students were preparing for a dance program outside the school she called them in to her office and told them that they should be careful about their being abused by other people in the name of dancing and something could go wrong any time.
Three students who complained to their parents that Nisha had used bad language against them and spoken about sexual harassment and misuse of children by those considered good, took the parents to Nisha for an argument by parents about her disciplinary talk.
When parents told Nisha that she could not control their children after class hours the students walked out of the meeting demanding school transfer certificates saying that they would take private tuitions to continue their education, rather than be in the present school and here the convener lecture on morality and sexual matters to them.
Convener Nisha Laxmi was helpless and had to yield to the 3 students and their parents to get out of this school forever.
