Mangaluru: Mulky-Moodbidri, a Congress stronghold in Dakshina Kannada district, rebelled against the rebellion. Yuva Congress leaders have turned down their ticket to MLA Abhayachandra Jain in Mulki Moodbidri.

Youth Congress president and office bearers of all the assembly constituencies in Dakshina Kannada district have resigned. MLA Abhayachandra Jain has publicly announced that he will not contest the polls as the JDS Mulky-Moodbidri seat has allowed youth.

Abhayachandra Jain had earlier given the ticket to Mithun Rai in this context. Youth Congress leaders are outraged that they have missed the word now.
