Bantwal : A tipper lorry carrying a Hitachi JCB overturned on a slopy road at Pilinja in Goltamajalu on October 7, Monday evening leaving four persons injured.

They are Vijay (28) of Davangere, Naushad(19) of  Puttur Shantinagar, Ummar Farooq and Devaraj of Arakalagudu in Hassan.

The Hitachi was being taken in the lorry of Kerala registration from Bolantur to Uppinangady when the mishap took place. The man inside the Hitachi was stuck in the vehicle and had to be pulled out. His leg was fractured.

Both the Hitachi and the tipper were badly damaged. The injured have been hospitalized.
