Bangalore: Jagadish Shettar, Chief Minister elect of Karnataka has said that he would give top priority to drought relief works in places of the state worst affected by drought conditions.
Speaking to reporters after being elected as the BJP Legislative Party leader on Tuesday he said he was fully aware that tough challenges were ahead of him as he was taking charge when the state was facing drought in several districts. He said he would strive his level best to mitigate the hardships of the people.
