Mangaluru: A traffic police returned Rs 23,250 to a bike rider which was fallen from a bike at Lalbhag, on Tuesday.

Sales representative of Coca Cola Company, Kishan Kumar was heading towards the bank to deposit the cash. On the way near Lalbhag money wrapped with bank slip fell on the road. Traffic police Suresh saw the money falling from the bike and picked it. At that time Kishan had moved from the spot.

Suresh rushed to Bunder police station and informed the police. Police then contacted media to publish the news to find the owner of the cash.

On Tuesday morning after seeing the news in news paper Kishan went to Bunder police station and collected his money.

Honest traffic police Suresh was rewarded by the Commissioner Chandra Sekhar with Rs 1000.
