Mangalore: The driver of a trailer escaped unhurt when his vehicle was hit by another trailer from behind near Sahyadri College at Adyar on the morning of December 13, Thursday.The mishap took place when the driver of the first trailer tried to avoid hitting a car in front and applied brake. Immediately another trailer which was behind it dashed against it.

The huge pipes which were in the first trailer jerked forward and hit the driver’s compartment, smashing it totally. However the driver Jaswinder Singh escaped unhurt.

Both t he trailers laden with pipes were heading towards the city from Madhya Pradesh.

A case has been registered.
