Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner A B Ibrahim has clarified the confusions over his transfer order. The news of cancellation of his transfer order had been circulated among social media. Speaking about this he has said that there is no cancellation of transfer order.

“Dr K G Jagadeesh will be the new DC. Still five more years left to continue my service. There will not be any retirement and cancellation of my transfer order,” he clarified.

His name was involved in a controversy of Puttur temple invitation. Devotees of the temple and right wing activities protested against the inclusion of a Muslim person’s name in a Hindu temples invitation card.
