Mangalore : Mangalore North MLA Moiddin Bava said that he has urged the Chief Minister Siddharamaiah to replace the old policemen with the young and efficient officials.

Speaking at a press meet held on April 14, Monday, he said that during CM’s recent visit to the district, he had demanded him to transfer few policemen, in order to maintain peace in the area.

Bava also said that the transfers of police personnel’s are taking within the police commissionerate area and there is necessary to send them outside the commissionerate area, since most of them are serving the post for the past 10 years in the region.

He also said that he has been asking the police department to arrest the miscreants, who had waylaid MCC corporator and tried to molest her.
