Mangalore: The Karnataka department of tourism in association with DK District administration, Mangalore Association of Travel Agents and Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project organized treasure Hunt and Quiz as part of World Tourism Day 2011 at City Centre on September 27, Tuesday.
Speaking on the Occasion, Deputy Speaker N Yogesh Bhat, said that Mangalore has planned many tourism development plans including Beach tourism, boat house and other tourist actracting project.
He also said that further the dream of people will be true with the implementation of various projects. The state government is working to make the city as one of the important tourist destination in Dakshina Kannada.
MP Nalin Kumar and MLA UT Khader appreciated the effort of observing tourism day and asked the people support and co-operation people for its development and maintenance.
