Mangalore : There was panic as mild tremors were experienced in various parts of the state including Dakshina Kannada District on October 14, Sunday afternoon.

The tremors lasted for about three to four seconds  at around 2.20 pm.  However no damages have been reported from anywhere though some reports say some houses have developed cracks in Sullia. In DK Belthangady, Subrahamanya, Sullia and Puttur experienced tremors while people had similar experience even in Chikmagalur, Coorg and Hassan districts.
