Karkala : One person was killed and three others sustained injuries one of them severely, when the truck in which they were travelling turned turtle  at Kodimar Indar on April 8 evening.

The accident took place when the truck transporting  interlocks suffered from a brake failure and skid. Soon it overturned and led to the death of Devaraj, hailing from Yadagiri. The driver of the truck was lucky enough to escape unhurt. Of the three injured, the condition of Esha from Yadagiri is critical. All of them have been hospitalized in Manipal.

The truck was proceeding towards  Mundkur from Karkala when the accident occurred.

Karkala police have registered a case.
