Mangaluru: Tulunada Rakshana Vedike staged protest demanding additional bus service to Bajalpadpu area which comes under Mangaluru City Corporation, on Thursday at Bajalpadpu.

Addressing the protestors Founder President of the Vedike Yogesh Shetty Jeppu said that most of the people of Bajalpadpu are depended on bus services only. Functioning buses are not following the prescribed timings and this has caused lot of problems to the area people.

“There is a school at Bajalpadpu and due to the lack of buses students and teachers are struggling to reach the school on time. So, it is very much needed to provide additional JNURM and private buses to Bajalpadpu area,” he urged.

J Ibrahim, Prashant Bhat Kadaba, Rakshit Bangera Kudupu, Rajesh Kutthar and others were present.
