Mangalore: Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade has called upon parents to lead their children on the right path so that they can lead a respectable life in the society.

Speaking at a one-day workshop  for yoga instructors under the auspices of the Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Yoga and Education Scheme, Shantivana Trust and Public Education Department at Kushe school auditorium on Friday, he called upon parents to try to bring a positive change in their children.

Recollecting the recent untoward incident in Mangalore, he said threatening tactics will not bring a positive change in the children, but would encourage them to resort to such activities in a hush hush manner.

Dr Heggade was felicitated on the occasion on behalf of Madhusudan Kushe institutions and Sri Guru Yoga Sangha.

Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP, was present as a chief guest. Shwasaguru Vachanananda Swamiji released books ‘Arunodaya’ and ‘Kiranodaya’.

District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President  Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, B Seetaram Tolpadittaya, Secretary of Shantivana Trust,  KK Upadhyaya. Principal of Kushe School and others were present on the occasion.
