Mangalore:   Umanath Kotian, President of the Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy, has said that the Academy would provide all sorts of encouragement to those who wish to learn Tulu language.

He was speaking after releasing a book on Tulu alphabets ‘Tulu Aksharamaale’  by G V S Ullal at a function held at the Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy Hall here  on May 24. The book is in Tulu script.

On this occasion, Kotian also said that the book will be posted on the Academy website.  Harikrishna Punaroor, former president of the Kannada Sahitya Parishad, Erya Lakshminarayana Alva, Chancellor, Bharatha Sanskriti Prathishtana, Bangalore,  Kishore  D Shetty and others were present on the occasion.

The 32 page book  has 10 chapters and has a foreword by Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala.
