Mangaluru : The 57th Tulu cinema “Dand” Produced by Sandhya Creations will hit theatres on May 29,

Speaking to the media producer Shodhan Prasad said,the cinema has been shot in Mangaluru, and will be released in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi initially. Later there are plans to release it at Mumbai, Bengaluru and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Mr. Prasad who had earlier produced the Tulu movie Nirel said that Arjun Kapikkad and Shilpa Suvarna would be the lead actors. Ranjith Bajpe, who had directed Nirel, has directed Dand.

Other actors in the movie include Sandeep Shetty, Anoop Sagar, Gopinath Bhat, Umesh Mijar, and Subhash Bangera.
