Mangaluru : The Tulu movie “Bollilu’ produced under the banner of Shree Mangaladevi Creations, released in Dakshina Kanada and Udupi theaters on Friday, April 29.

The film released in a symbolic programme held at Suchictra theater in Mangalore by Spiritual Advisor Jai Shankar Poojary.

Speaking after lighting the lamp Jai Shankar Poojary said that, The Bollilu Movie also shine like brightness of light , he wished all success to the team of the Bollilu film.

Sharatchandra Kumar Kadri Director of the film said that, the film have family entertained comedy and story, Tulu audience must support our film and artist, he appealed .

Producer Mitra Heraje, Art Director Tamma Lakshman, Dance Master Rajesh Brammavar, Producer Prakash Pandeshwar, R Dhanraj Spoke on the occasion.

Lead role Sravan Kadri, Female lead Prathiksha Poojary, Bollilu Artists and Technical team were present on the inaugural function.

Film producer Richard Castilian Inaugurated the “Bollilu” Movie in grand function organiased at Sri Mangaladevi Temple premises on April 29, Thursday.

After lighting the lamp, he said that, the Tulu film industries facing tough competition in recent days as producers devoid of cohesive. He appealed producers must come unitized before film releasing, otherwise earning go harder, he advised.

North MLA Moideen Bava presided over the function. The Tulu film industry give more opportunities to local artist, and people should watch the movie once, to support Tulu language and culture, he said.

Director Rajashekar Kotian, Rtd. police officer Pitambara heraje, Artist VG Pal, Maxim Lobo, Umesh Shetty, Kirthesh Poojary, Shakila Sharath, Shashikala Rajshekar, Sharath Kumar Kadri, GK Purushottam, Actor Shravan Kumar Kadri, Heroine Pratiksa Poojary and others were present on the occasion.

Director Sharathchandra Kumar Kadri welcomed, Producer Mitra Heraje Thanked, Chaitra Anchan hosted the programme.

About Movie

The movie is based on the novel “Duranta Preeti” by Shashikala Rajshekar. Sharatchandra Kadri has written the screenplay, dialogue, lyrics and directed the movie.

Suresh Rai, who is a well known face in Kannada daily soaps, has portrayed an important character in the film.

The film has been jointly produces by Mitra Heraje, Shakila Sharat, Salian brothers and Shashikala Rajshekar.

Late Jitn Shyam, one of the famous music director of Bollywood has composed five songs for Bollilu. Bollywood singer Vinod Rathod has leni his voice for a song in the film.

BolliluShravan Kumar and Prateeksha have played the lead pair in the film and the other star cast includes, Peetambar Heraje, Saujanya Hegde, Vishwanath Pandit, Dayanand Kulal, Deepak Rai Panaje, Prakash Toominad, Nitin Heraje, Somanath Shetty, Soumya Salian, Roopa Varkhady, Ranganath, Jayanth Konchady and others.

The movie has been appreciated by the censor board and is given “U” certificate.
