Mangaluru : The Tulu movie “Bollilu’ under the banner of Shree Mangaladevi Creations, to be released in Dakshina Kanada and Udupi theaters on Friday, April 29.

Speaking in a press meet held at Suma Sadan in Mallikatte, director of the film Sharatchandra Kumar Kadri said that Bollilu film has a new and experienced star cast. Film is a family oriented drama flavoured with comedy and action.

Mitra Heraje, the producers of the film and retired police officer said that, It is a novel based film and hence, Tulu audience will get a different experience. Tulu audience will not get bored no matter how many Tulu movies will release,he said.

the fikm hero Shravan Kumar and actress Saujanya Hegde said “Tulu film lovers are responsible for the development of the film industry. They have always blessed good movies. We believe that we have made a clean, good movie and the audience will appreciate our work.”

Ln. Sadashiv Hegde, Shashikala Rajshekar, Shakila Sharat and other were present in the press meet.

The movie is based on the novel “Duranta Preeti” by Shashikala Rajshekar. Sharatchandra Kadri has written the screenplay, dialogue, lyrics and directed the movie.

Suresh Rai, who is a well known face in Kannada daily soaps, has portrayed an important character in the film.

The film has been jointly produces by Mitra Heraje, Shakila Sharat, Salian brothers and Shashikala Rajshekar.

Late Jitn Shyam, one of the famous music director of Bollywood has composed five songs for Bollilu. Bollywood singer Vinod Rathod has leni his voice for a song in the film.

Shravan Kumar and Prateeksha have played the lead pair in the film and the other star cast includes, Peetambar Heraje, Saujanya Hegde, Vishwanath Pandit, Dayanand Kulal, Deepak Rai Panaje, Prakash Toominad, Nitin Heraje, Somanath Shetty, Soumya Salian, Roopa Varkhady, Ranganath, Jayanth Konchady and others.

The movie has been appreciated by the censor board and is given “U” certificate.
