Mangaluru: Tulu movie ‘Guddeda Bhootha’ directed by Sandeep Paniyuru was released at Prabhat Cinema Theater on Friday in Mangaluru city.
Film Director, Script writer Vijaya Kumar Kodialbail released the film by lightening the lamp.
Speaking on the occasion he said, “South Canara people have been supporting Tulu movies and they should also support new talents appear in the movies. Guddeda Bhootha is a horror movie, however it can easily attract the viewers through its novelty.”
In Mangaluru, the movie was released at Prabhat, PVR, Big Cinema theaters whereas in Puttur it was released in Aruna theater. The actors who played roles in the movie, Dinesh Attavar, heroine Ashwitha Nayak, Bhojaraj Vamanjuru and others were present on the occasion.
Tulu horror movie, ‘Guddeda Bhootha,’ makers had changed the film chamber after there was a controversy over its little, ‘Guddeda Bhootha’. Sandeep Bhaktha and Ashwitha Nayak are the hero and heroine of the movie. Theater artist Dinesh Attavar, artist Chidananda Kamath Kasaragod and other played roles in the movie. Subhash Bolar composed music whereas Surendra Phaniyuru handled cinematography.
The movie has been sent to international film festivals also. The movie is expected to be screened at FLIUMS film festival scheduled to be held in Pakistan this month. It has also been selected for London and Switzerland film festivals. The film has 2.17 hours duration. For international film festivals it has been edited and duration of the movie has been reduced to 1.40 hours.
In the initial period it will be showcased at Mangaluru, Puttur, and Karkala and later it will be screened at parts of South Canara.
