Mangaluru: The Tulunada Rakshana Vedike held a protest demanding basic amenities to government and private ambulance staff especially the drivers, in front of Wenlock Hospital here on Monday.
Addressing the protest, Yogish Shetty, founder said that the ambulance drivers don’t have a proper shelter area allotted for them in front of the hospital. The drivers have been working 24/7.
C S Radhika, owner of Cauvery Ambulance urged the district administration take note of the concerns put forth by ambulance drivers and do the needful.
M Siraj, Abdul Rasheed Jeppu, Prashanth Bhat Kadaba, Rakshith Bangera and others participated in the protest.
