Belthangady : Two persons from Belthangady who were wanted in over 40 theft cases were arrested by the Chikmagalur police. The two were brought to Belthangady on July 8, Monday for enquiry.
The duo are Isaac of Badyar and Hameed of Maddadka. Isaac was an autorickshaw driver in Guruvayanakere.
It is learnt they had committed theft of cash, oil cans and CCTV equipment from the KB Malla petrol bunk at Belthangady in April. They often used to steal CC Camera at every firm where they burgled to prevent being caught. They even used several sims and police have seized 13 sims from them.
