Mangalore : A speeding car rams into a bike, seriously injuring two bike riders near the Ganesh Mahal on KS Rao Road on April 23, Wednesday.

During the collision, the both the bike rider and pillion rider were thrown on road for several meter away. One of the injured is identified as Chandrashekhar, hailing from Puttur, while another person’s identity is not ascertained.

The three passengers traveling in car fled from the scene, leaving the car on the spot after the accident.

The Bunder police who visited the spot found the cell phones in the car and have registered a case.

Both the riders are in critical condition and have been admitted at Yenepoya hospital and AJ Hospital.
