Surathkal: Two buffalos were found dead on the roadside in front of the Koddabu Temple of the Surathkal, Hosabettu National Highway on Sunday.

It is said, the leg was found in a tied up position, and the buffalos were found covered in plastic sheets on the side of the road.

The locals have been informed police station, later the police have arrived at the spot and inspected it, police also investigating the CCTV footage.

The locals demanded the culprits should be punished.

The dead body was later burnt under the leadership of locals and police.

A case has been registered at the Surathkal police station.
