Mangaluru: A two day art exhibition ‘Kudla Kala Mela’ has began at Kadri Park in Mangaluru city on April 15 and the show is expected to exhibit 10, 000 art works.
‘Karavali Chitrakala Chavadi’ organised the two day event with around 150 stalls. The visitors can also buy the art works being exhibited in the park.
Shabari Ganiga’s on the spot fast art demonstration has been organised along with thread art demonstration by PN Acharya On the first day. Music event is also arranged on Saturday evening to entertain the Mangalureans. A painting competition is also awaiting the school students on Sunday afternoon.
Acrylic Paintings, Oil Paintings, Water Color Paintings, Line Arts Pen Works and others are very likely to attract the visitors. Also, South Indian Artists, mainly from Karnataka and Kerala, will exhibit their works across a variety of forms like Paintings, Sculptures, Installation Art, Photography and Performing Arts. The Kudla Kalamela also opens the door for the students to prove their mettle in art through different Art competitions.
