Mangalore : University will issue application forms for admission to post-graduation courses in its institutes for 2015-16 during the two-day ‘open house’ on its campus from June 12.

Students and parents can visit 27 departments offering 35 post-graduation courses and get information, a release from the university said.

According to K.R. Chandrashekar, the co-ordinator for the open house, free bus facility has been arranged for students and parents from five places in the city. They would be picked up from KSRTC bus stand, Bejai, Jyothi Junction, Kankanady, Pumpwell and Thokkottu. The pick up would be at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., he said.

The open house is applicable to postgraduation courses being offered at its constituent colleges, the University College at Hampankatta and the Field Marshal K.M. Cariappa College in Madikeri, and its postgraduation centre at Chikka Aluvara, Kodagu.

The house, a popular concept in foreign countries, would be organised in the university for the first time.
